In recent years Deveron House has engaged with local charity, St Andrews Legacy . Their Mission Statement being - 
 
" We aim to use the game of golf and the magic of St Andrews to motivate and inspire the ill and injured to improved health, wellbeing and stability."
 
Through 2013 to 2015 St Andrews Legacy has brought almost 50 veterans to Scotland from around the world to play golf and attend The Open Championship. Many suffer what are called non visible injuries, time with fellow soldiers on the golf course has been described as the best therapy they have experienced. Make that golf course "The Old Course" and the impact is huge. All going to plan St Andrews Legacy is planning on bringing 24 veterans to Scotland in 2016.
